Major Reports are documents prepared by independent engineering consultants to KeySpan and National Grid, and accepted by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as well as certain documents prepared by the NYSDEC. Among the reports you will find here are the Final Remedial Investigation Report which describes the environmental conditions found on the site and in its vicinity, the Remedial Action Plan for Operable Unit 1 , the Record of Decision finalizing the Remedial Action Plan for Operable Unit 1 and specifying the goals and objective for the remediation of the entire site, Decision Documents and Remedial Design Documents for the other Operable Units, and completion reports for major Interim Remedial Measures. These files are placed in tabs for each Operable Unit (1,2,3, and 4) as well as Site-Wide.
Fact Sheets are documents that have been distributed to the neighbors of the site as major reports and milestones were reached and public meetings scheduled.
Weekly Report Archive: During the two major phases of remediation of Operable Unit 1 weekly reports were prepared on the activities related to the remediation of the main site. The reports included a summary of the previous week’s activities and a two week forecast of planned activities, focusing on those that might have impacted normal community activities. The reports are archived in chronological order. Future update reports will appear first on the Home Page and then be placed in this archive. Under a separate tab you will find an archive of Bi-Weekly reports produced by the NYSDEC.
